A Fujifilm recipe card is a simple way to share a film simulation look. It combines the recipe name, camera model, film simulation, JPEG settings, white balance shift, and optional sample photo in one clean export.
In Receptree Studio, the workflow is intentionally short. You do not need to design a card from scratch. Choose a template, add the recipe settings, and download the finished card.
Step 1: Choose a Recipe Card Template
Open Recipe Cards in Receptree Studio and choose a template from the template picker. Some layouts work best with a sample image, while others can be used as clean settings-only cards. This makes the tool useful whether you already have a finished photo or just want to share the recipe settings clearly.
If you are unsure, start with a minimal card such as the White Recipe Card. It keeps the Fujifilm settings readable and works for many film simulation styles. For a more specific look, try a simulation-inspired layout such as the Classic Chrome Recipe Card.
Step 2: Add the Settings or Use Recipe Recognition
The left Recipe Cards panel is where you fill in the card. Add the recipe name, camera model, film simulation, branding, camera parameters, dynamic range, grain, Color Chrome settings, and white balance shift.
If your uploaded image contains supported Fujifilm recipe metadata, you can use Recipe Recognition to apply the detected settings automatically. Recipe Recognition is a premium feature, while manual editing remains the straightforward way to build a card from any recipe.
The most important fields are usually:
- recipe name and camera model
- film simulation
- dynamic range
- highlight tone, shadow tone, color, sharpness, noise reduction, and clarity
- grain, Color Chrome Effect, and Color Chrome FX Blue when relevant
- white balance, Kelvin value, and red/blue white balance shift
Step 3: Download the Finished Recipe Card
When the card looks right, use the download control in the top bar and choose Download Recipe Card. Receptree exports the card as a polished image file that you can share on social media, add to a blog post, save as a reference, or attach to a public recipe page.
Before downloading, check the card at a small size. The recipe name, film simulation, and white balance shift should still be readable on a phone. If the card feels crowded, simplify the text or choose a cleaner template.
Why Use Receptree for Fujifilm Recipe Cards?
Receptree keeps recipe cards connected to the photography workflow. You can browse public Fujifilm recipes, create your own recipe, present it as a card, and pair it with EXIF metadata frames when you want to show camera, lens, ISO, aperture, and shutter speed.
The result is a card that is useful, readable, and easy to share. It shows the look, the settings, and the Receptree context behind the recipe without making the process more complicated than it needs to be.
