  • Recipe data: film simulation settings, camera parameters, recipe names, descriptions, tags
  • Images you upload as recipe examples, including EXIF metadata
  • User-generated content: comments, reviews
  • Messages sent via the platform

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: interaction with the Service, pages visited, features used
  • Device information: browser type, OS, IP address, device identifiers
  • Log data: server logs, error reports, performance data
  • Aggregated analytics for platform improvement

1.3 Technical Image Data

  • EXIF data from uploaded images
  • Image metadata: file size, dimensions, format, creation date
  • Location data from image GPS metadata if enabled

5. Private vs Public Content

5.1 Public Content

  • Content shared with the community may be stored, displayed, distributed, and processed for operating the Service.
  • Other users may view, comment, or share it within the platform.

5.2 Private Content

  • Content marked as private remains your property.
  • Novasas may only store, organize, and display it to you in your account.
  • Private content is not shared with other users or third parties.
  • Private content may be used in aggregated, anonymized form for analytics and service improvement. Individual content is never identifiable.

5.3 User Control

  • You can edit, export, or delete private content at any time.
  • Deletion removes content from live display; copies may remain in secure backups up to 30 days.

6. Cookies and Tracking

  • Essential cookies: basic functionality and security
  • Preference cookies: store your settings
  • Analytics cookies: only with consent, anonymized usage tracking
  • Marketing cookies: only with consent

Users can manage or withdraw preferences via account settings or browser controls.

8. Data Retention

  • Account and personal data deleted immediately upon account deletion.
  • Publicly shared content removed upon account deletion.
  • Log and analytics data anonymized and retained for up to 14 days.

9. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed outside your country of residence, including the USA.

Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards ensure protection.

10. Children's Privacy

Service is not directed at individuals under 16 (EU) or under 13 (other jurisdictions).

If we inadvertently collect data from children, contact us for deletion at privacy@novasas.ch.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Updates may occur occasionally.

Material changes communicated via email or posted on the website.

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
