A Calm Naming and Export Workflow

Applies to: Written for Fujifilm photographers. Camera menu names, film simulations and available settings vary by model and firmware.

Keep the original edit together

Use a consistent project name and avoid scattering finals across desktop folders. A simple date and place or project title is usually enough to make a set discoverable later.

Separate purpose from format

A print file, web share and archive copy serve different jobs. Name the exported set by its purpose so you can find the intended version without overwriting your master.

Export with restraint

Create the dimensions you actually need instead of every possible variant. Fewer, intentional exports reduce storage and make sharing decisions clearer.
